New Ocarina Player

Hi, I am new to playing the Ocarina of finding about it on youtube and have just got on from a shop that was like £4.99 and accidentally got a book for a 4 hole in D book for beginner's, but I intend to keep it in case I get a 4 Hole in D in the future.

I don't know what note this Ocarina is, it maybe cheap but something I am hoping I can learn from. I play the piano and will be able to understand how to play and have played a recorder in the past but not that good as I did not stick with it, all I want to know is, how do you know what note that 10 hole Ocarina sounds like? Because my packaging did not say and I am guessing it is the sound from when you play it. Other tips would be grateful too!
